About the selection:

Oodaaq’s selection is an outline of what kind of experimental videos can be programed and seen during the Oodaaq’s Festival. It is a various and disparate set of nomadic and poetic images, reflecting the diversity of points of views that can arise from Oodaaq’s island. Its is different forms as film and numeric. Documentary or fiction, abstraction or representation. Oodaaq’s selection, presented in numerous festivals in France and overseas, and also during learning interventions, claims to be a thinking tool upon the process, the emergence and perception of images nowadays, in all possible forms.

About Oodaaq:

Oodaaq is a Northeastern Greenland’s island discovered in 1978.
For a long time considered as the most northerly point of land on earth, the bank of gravels and silt it is, continuously drifting, can no longer be located. Living a life of its own between reality and fantasy, the island turns into a distant and utopian projection, inviting us to observe the horizon in case we might see it appear.
